What this website collects
We only collect what you type into our forms or upload. The forms are:

We ask for the broad client group a service supports (for example, “learning disabilities”) so we can match suitable property. We do not ask for, and you should not send, names or any details about individual people who receive care.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and take steps you ask for before entering into an agreement (contract).
- To match properties with requirements and make introductions (legitimate interests in running our placement business).
- To keep records we are required to keep (legal obligation).
We do not use your information for automated decision-making and we do not sell it.
Where it is stored and who processes it
Form submissions and uploaded files are received and stored by Netlify, Inc., which hosts this website, and a copy of each submission is emailed to the CareKey team. Netlify is based in the United States. Where your information is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
We share information with landlords, providers, housing partners or planning consultants only as needed to progress an introduction or instruction you have asked us to handle.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and requirements that do not lead to an agreement: deleted 12 months after our last contact with you.
- Property submissions, photographs and floorplans: kept while the property is being marketed and deleted 12 months after it is withdrawn or placed.
- Records of agreements, placements and fees: kept for 6 years after the agreement ends, for legal and accounting purposes.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner, unless we need to keep it to meet a legal obligation.

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to restrict it. Contact us using the details above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
